Panic disorder
It is an anxiety disorder characterized by unexpected and recurrent panic attacks. a panic attack is a sudden surge of intense fear that reaches its peak within minutes, accompanied by physical and cognitive symptoms.
Types of clinical problems related to anger:
Palpitations or rapid heart rate
Sweating
Trembling or shaking
Sensation of shortness of breath or smothering
Chest pain or discomfort
Nausea or abdominal distress
Feeling dizzy or faint
Chills or heat sensations
Numbness or tingling sensations (paresthesias)
Feelings of unreality (derealization) or being detached from oneself (depersonalization)
Fear of losing control or "going crazy"
Fear of dying
With or without agoraphobia
Panic disorder without agoraphobia: The person has panic attacks but does not develop significant fear or avoidance of places or situations where they think it might be difficult to escape or get help in case of another attack.
Panic disorder with agoraphobia: In addition to panic attacks, the person avoids situations or places where they fear they might have an attack and be unable to leave or be helped easily. Examples include:
Being outside the home alone
Being in crowds or lines
Using public transportation or traveling by car
Being in open or enclosed spaces
This avoidance can severely limit daily life, as the person seeks to avoid the associated fear and anxiety.
